‘Real facts’ vs. fiction in claims about energy management
In energy management, facts aren’t produced by vendors like us. Facts are what come from controlled field studies conducted for utilities by 3rd party measurement and verification specialists and made available for public viewing. We stand by the real results reported to the PUC of Nevada by ADM Associates and available here (see Docket no. 14-07007).
In the report, ADM measured our performance using criteria specified by the utility and industry-standard metrics. Other vendors may use different metrics, but unless they can point to public, 3rd-party studies, the comparison will be apples to turnips.
So please don’t just take our word for it: read the report. We think real-world, third party findings are more credible than white papers and simulations from vendors.
We are very proud of our work in Nevada. Saving DR program participants an average of $100 a year and keeping them satisfied is a huge accomplishment. We have ambitious goals for this program as well as other utility rollouts in the future. Stay tuned!
