EcoFactor Appoints Matthew Plante as CEO

Redwood City, Calif. — September 15, 2014 — EcoFactor®, the leader in cloud-based home energy management services, today announced the appointment of Matthew Plante as Chief Executive Officer, effective immediately. Plante joins EcoFactor from Bidgely, where he served as Vice President of Sales. He will be responsible for accelerating market adoption of EcoFactor and setting the company’s vision as it moves into its next chapter of market expansion and growth.

Plante comes to EcoFactor with more than 15 years of experience in energy management, utility and related industries. Prior to Bidgely, Plante was Vice President of Sales at EnerNOC, Inc. where he led various sales teams worldwide. At EnerNOC, he helped grow the organization from 20 people and $1 million in revenue to 800 people and $280 million in revenue.
